Three 3/8-inch mild-steel blades form the root ball, and manual hydraulic valves control the blades, lift and tilt individually.

The fixed frame has a 23-inch opening. It is a straightforward choice where there is clear access around the trunk. For trees with spreading lower branches, the PS330 offers the same 30-inch root ball with a hinged arm that opens to 60 inches.

Hydraulic tilt aligns the head with the tree, down pressure keeps the frame positioned during digging, and the mount’s lift raises the root ball from the hole. Baumalight’s reference weight increases from 1,356 pounds empty to 1,865 pounds with a root ball, making loaded hitch capacity part of the tractor choice.

PT330 specifications

Specification

Details

Root ball diameter

30 inches

Blades

3; 3/8-inch mild steel; 25-degree angle

Frame opening

23 inches; fixed

Hitch

Category 2 three-point; not quick-hitch compatible

Controls

Manual hydraulic valves

Hydraulic supply

5–20 GPM; 2,900–4,000 PSI

Trunk ratings

3-inch evergreen; 2.5-inch hardwood

Manufacturer reference weights

1,356 lb attachment; 1,865 lb with root ball

Minimum tractor weight

4,000 lb

Send us your tractor model and three-point lift rating for help checking the loaded attachment.
