baumalight-rss780-skid-steer-screw-splitter-with-cone
Baumalight RSS780 Skid Steer Screw Splitter with Cone

The Baumalight RSS780 skid steer screw splitter is supplied with the planetary drive, splitter cone, universal skid steer plate and hydraulic hoses. The cone threads into the wood as it rotates to split the log, and the hardened tip can be replaced when it wears.

Baumalight recommends 20–55 GPM and 2,500–4,500 PSI for this model. Its maximum carrier weight for use with the splitter cone is 12,000 pounds. Check those figures against the skid steer’s auxiliary hydraulics and operating weight when selecting the drive.

The 8-bolt flange connects the cone to the drive. Shielding protects the drive-shaft seals, and the attachment needs no 12-volt electrical connection.

RSS780 specifications

Specification

Details

Drive

Planetary

Included equipment

Splitter cone, skid steer plate and hydraulic hoses

Tool interface

8-bolt flange

Recommended hydraulic flow

20–55 GPM

Maximum hydraulic flow

65 GPM

Recommended pressure

2,500–4,500 PSI

Maximum pressure

5,000 PSI

Maximum carrier weight with splitter cone

12,000 lb

Case drain

Required

Stump planer and auger

Optional; not included

Attachment only; the skid steer shown in the photos is not included. Contact our equipment team with your skid steer model, hydraulic flow and operating pressure for help checking the fit.
