Chainfloor Forage Trailers

We sell Artex, MAS, and Meyer chainfloor forage trailers for hauling silage and unloading through a rear chain-floor system.

Chainfloor Trailer Choices

The Artex TR3606-8 has a 36-foot by 8-foot by 6-foot box and 2,016 cubic feet of heaped capacity. Artex specifies an 88C floor chain, Super Slide poly floor, tandem axle, and 12-gauge steel walls for the TR Series.

Our MAS models are 36- and 38-foot chainfloor trailers. MAS chainfloor trailers use a WH-82 big-barrel chain, one-half-inch UHMW floor, dual hydraulic motors, and a choice of rear-gate arrangements. Confirm the gate, suspension, and other equipment installed on the individual trailer.

Meyer 8124RT and 8126RT rear-unload forage boxes use 667XH pintle apron chains, poly floors, and hydraulic direct geardrive. The 8124RT is rated at 1,200 cubic feet struck-level, or 1,400 with 14-inch extensions; the 8126RT is rated at 1,260 cubic feet struck-level, or 1,495 with extensions. The Meyer 9136RT is a rear-unload semi ag trailer rated at 1,780 cubic feet struck-level or 2,105 with 14-inch extensions.

Trailer Details That Matter

Artex TR Series applications include corn silage, haylage, distiller grains, and sugar beets. Because Meyer bases its listed unload times on the hydraulic system, confirm the tractor, hydraulic, hitch, running-gear, and brake details for the specific trailer configuration.
