Dump Trailers

We sell John B.M. dump trailers and Penta agricultural dump boxes. John B.M. covers lower-sided utility, construction, and farm hauling, while Penta provides higher-volume boxes for agricultural materials.

Material Weight and Box Volume

Equal box volume does not mean equal load weight. Penta's material-density table covers silage, corn, manure, gravel, stone, sand, and other materials that carry different weights at equal volume.

John B.M. Dump Trailers

We offer John B.M. models from the 8-ton T-800 through 12-ton, 15-ton, and 20-ton trailers. Hoist arrangements vary by model: the T-800 uses one straight cylinder, the John B.M. T-1200DB dump trailer and 12 Ton Load Master use dual cylinders, and the T-1500DB and 20 Ton Load Master use telescopic cylinders.

The T-1200DB pairs a 12-ton rating with a 7-foot by 12-foot by 2-foot formed-steel box, two 4-inch by 27-inch double-acting cylinders, included hydraulic hoses, and a hydraulic tailgate with grain door. The 20 Ton Load Master has an 8-foot by 16-foot by 3-foot box for rock, gravel, construction, and demolition hauling. Confirm box dimensions and loading height for the exact trailer, along with the hoist, tailgate, hubs, tires, brakes, tractor hydraulics, load, and terrain.

Penta DB40, DB50, and DB60 Dump Boxes

We offer the DB40 with tandem axles, the DB50 with tandem or tridem axles, and the DB60 with tridem axles. Axle configurations can vary by build, so confirm the axle setup on the exact trailer. The Penta DB40 dump box is rated at 40 cubic metres and 17.5 tons for silage. For the DB40 configuration covered by Penta's operator's manual, Penta recommends 160 tractor horsepower.

Penta rates the DB50 at 50 cubic metres, 23 tons for silage, and 190 minimum tractor horsepower. The DB60 is rated at 60 cubic metres, 26 tons for silage, and 220 minimum tractor horsepower. The silage ratings are material-specific, not universal payload or legal-road limits. Exact drawbar, hitch height, hydraulics, brakes, tires, terrain, and loaded weight must be confirmed for the individual trailer.

Park the Penta dump box on firm, level ground. For unloading, keep the tractor and dump box straight and check overhead clearance. Follow the operator's manual for the tailgate and body sequence. The dual stabilizing cylinders include hose-burst protection to help control rollover risk, but they do not make an unsuitable unloading site acceptable.
