Rear Blades

Our ICON equipment includes the ICON 1632RS rear-steer grader blade, a pull-type 16-foot blade for road grading, ditch cleaning, field leveling, feedlot scraping, snow moving, and related site maintenance.

Blade and Rear Steering

ICON specifies a 16-foot by 32-inch moldboard with a 6-inch hardened-steel cutting edge. The blade swings 45 degrees left or right and tilts 15 degrees. Rear-steer travel is 18 degrees, or 5 feet, left or right of center.

Tractor Requirements

The 1632RS requires a pintle swivel hitch and four hydraulic circuits or remotes. ICON lists 10-20 horsepower per foot for this blade family and recommends no more than a 300-horsepower pulling tractor. We can check the hitch, hydraulics and tractor weight for the ground conditions and grading work you have planned.

1632RS Transport Dimensions

ICON specifies an 11-foot standard transport width, an 8-foot-6-inch narrow transport width, a 23-foot transport length, and 18 inches of transport clearance. Approximate weight is 5,660 pounds with the weight box empty; added concrete is not included.
