Tree Pullers

We sell CL Fabrication Challenger and Dominator tree pullers and the Danuser Intimidator. The models differ in jaw opening, tooth shape, steel construction, cylinder force, attachment weight, optional guards or grapples, mount, and carrier requirements.

CL Fabrication Challenger and Dominator

The CL Fabrication Challenger Tree Puller has a 38-in. opening and 1-in. AR400 jaws. It weighs 650 lb., or 755 lb. with the 105-lb. push guard.

The CL Fabrication Dominator Tree Puller has a 60-in. opening and 1-in. AR400 jaws. Its twin cylinders are each rated above 33,000 lb. of force.

Jaw opening shows how far the attachment opens, rather than the tree size it can reliably remove. Tree species, root system, soil type, carrier capability, and operating method affect removal.

CL Fabrication's Dominator with GrappleGuard adds an optional hydraulic grapple and guard to the EZ-Puller attachment. Select the guard or grapple before purchase, then confirm attachment weight and hydraulic connection.

Danuser Intimidator Tree Puller

The Danuser Intimidator Tree Puller uses synchronized tapered jaws with a 34-in. opening and 0.75-in. hardened T1 steel. Danuser rates the 12200-series Intimidator at 21,000 lb. of clamp force at 3,500 psi. Clamp force is not the same as guaranteed pull-out capacity.

The Intimidator is designed to handle trees, stumps, shrubs, posts, roots, rocks, and debris for carrying or piling. Mount choices include skid steer, Euro/global, and flat-back interfaces. The mount, loader capacity, hydraulic system, and counterweight must all suit the carrier.
