Our Brandt and Jet removable-gooseneck trailers are built for hauling heavy equipment. Detaching the gooseneck allows equipment to load from the front. The deck well must accommodate the machine's length and ground clearance, while the trailer's rated load distribution and axle arrangement must suit its weight.
Brandt RGN Trailers
The Brandt H450 is rated for 90,000 pounds fully distributed or 80,000 pounds in 16 feet. Its loaded deck height is 17 inches at 5 inches of ground clearance. Different deck and axle arrangements are available within the H450 family.
The Brandt C550 has a 26-foot-10-inch base deck and an 18-inch loaded deck height at 6 inches of ground clearance. Its 110,000-pound rating in 12 feet requires the 14-foot-6-inch booster and gooseneck extension; that rating should not be applied to a trailer without that equipment.
Jet RGN Trailers
Jet's 53-foot, 35-ton model has a 34-foot lower deck and tandem axles. The 53-foot, 45-ton model has a 30-foot lower deck and triple axles. Compare the usable deck length as well as capacity when deciding which trailer will carry your equipment.
