Collection: Hagedorn Manure Spreaders

Hagedorn Hydra-Spread manure spreaders use a hydraulic push system combined with vertical beaters to deliver an even, controlled spread pattern. The proprietary Hydra-Spread flow-control valve sets discharge speed and includes an internal bypass for quick return, so unloading stays consistent load after load. A built-in sequencing valve prevents the pushgate from moving until the endgate is raised, protecting the driveline and gate. Poly sideboards reduce freezing and corrosion, braced by steel uprights.

Common sizes include the Extravert 5290 and 5440. The 5290 features a ~290 cu ft struck (~540 cu ft heaped) capacity, tandem axles rated to ~24,000 lb, Penta-built vertical beaters, and a modest load height designed for skid steers. The 5440 steps up to ~440 cu ft struck (~684 cu ft heaped) with ~36,000 lb carrying capacity, and flotation tires for lower ground pressure and stable road manners. Both use hollow-rod push cylinders and the same Hydra-Spread control/sequence system, aimed at steady unload rates, clean shutoffs at the headland, and fast turnarounds at the pile.
