Collection: Wheel Offset Disc Harrows

Wheel Offset Disc Harrows for Heavy Work

We offer wheel offset disc harrows for heavy primary tillage, construction, land clearing, and soil renovation. Rome TACW and TRCW discs are built for deep plowing, heavy-trash work, mixing, and aerating. The ICON 6510 Construction Disc has a 10-foot-9-inch working width and an 11-foot-11-inch transport width.

Match the Disc to the Work

Working width, blade diameter, gang angle, depth class, frame weight, transport setup, and tractor drawbar power all affect fitment. The ICON 6510 uses sixteen blades with a choice of 32- or 36-inch blade diameters, 17.5-inch spacing, and 20-degree front and 18-degree rear gang angles. Its approximate weight is 11,500 pounds with 32-inch blades or 12,396 pounds with 36-inch blades, and ICON calls for 20 to 30 horsepower per foot.

For Rome equipment, the TCW-24 has a 9-foot cut. The TAW-20S has a 9-foot-6-inch cut, the TACW-16 has an 11-foot cut, and the TRCW-24 has a 19-foot-6-inch cut. Rome's suggested engine horsepower and working width vary with soil, added weight, gang angle, and blade diameter.

The TACW series is rated up to 10 inches of penetration with standard 32-inch blades and needs one rear hydraulic circuit. The TAW series is rated up to 9 inches with standard 28-inch blades and needs one rear hydraulic circuit. The TCW series is rated up to 8 inches with standard 24-inch blades and needs one rear hydraulic circuit. The TRCW series uses standard 36-inch blades for a 13-inch depth class, offers optional 42-inch blades for a 15-inch depth class, and needs two rear hydraulic circuits.

Our Rome Plow equipment collection includes Rome wheel-offset models, and our ICON equipment collection covers construction discs. We also offer disc harrows for rent for short-term needs.
