These are manufacturer ratings, not guaranteed field throughput. Material, suction distance, hose and pipe arrangement, discharge layout, and operating conditions affect the rate.

Walinga and Christianson Capacity Ratings

Walinga rates the 6614 at 2,800 to 4,000 BPH, the 7614 at 4,800 to 5,500 BPH, and the 7816 at 5,300 to 6,000 BPH. Those ratings use corn, a 12-foot suction run, and a truck-load kit. Capacity also changes with barometric pressure, humidity, and the product's condition.

Christianson rates the VacBoss family up to 5,800 BPH. For customers who want a diesel engine, we carry the Christianson VacBoss 6068D.

For bulk-seed transfer, Christianson rates SeedVac at up to 400 pounds per minute with soybeans. That material-specific rate is not a grain bushels-per-hour figure.

PTO, Gas-Engine, and Diesel-Powered Grain Vacs

The AGI REM VRX and VR12 are tractor-PTO grain vacs, and the table above gives their recommended horsepower. The Christianson Handlair 404 is a gas-engine cleanup vac, and the VacBoss 6068D is diesel-powered.

We rent the Walinga 3510G cleanup vac for short-term cleanup work. We also offer other rental machines in our grain vacuums for rent collection.
