Roller Crimpers

The Goliath roller crimper from PH Outdoors is built to flatten and terminate cover crops without the use of chemicals, ideal for no-till systems, wildlife food plots, or conservation tillage applications. With working widths offered at 4′, 6′, 8′ and 10.5′, heavy‐duty cylindrical roller uses angled fins to crimp crop stems at multiple points, breaking the circulatory system of the plants while simultaneously laying residue flat to form a natural mulch layer. Models such as the 8′ (96″ drum) version weigh roughly 1,450 lb dry and can fill the drum with water ballast for deeper termination and better contact. Minimum tractor power requirements start around 30-50 hp depending on model size.
