Drop Deck Trailers

We offer drop-deck trailers from Demco and Jet for hauling equipment, baled hay and other open-deck loads. The deck length, loading ramps and axle arrangement are the main differences to compare. A shorter trailer may suit your equipment and loading space, while a longer lower deck provides room for larger machines or more than one piece of equipment.

Demco Drop Decks

Our 48-foot spread-axle and 48-foot triple-axle Demco trailers have a 5-foot beavertail, three spring-assist ramps and air-ride suspension. Both are 102 inches wide, with an 11-foot upper deck. The spread-axle DD48-5 has an 80,000-pound GVWR; the triple-axle DD48-5-3 has a 100,000-pound GVWR. Those ratings describe the complete loaded trailer, not the weight of the cargo alone.

Loading Your Equipment

Measure the machine's length, width, loaded weight and ground clearance before choosing the deck and ramps. Weight distribution, axle and tire ratings, the truck and applicable hauling limits determine the trailer you need.
