We sell pull-type and loader-mounted rock pickers for field cleanup and material handling. The Haybuster 3106 windrows and picks rock behind a tractor, while the Loftness EZ Pick uses a hydraulic reel on a skid steer or wheel loader. The two approaches differ in rock size, pickup width, bucket capacity, dump clearance, hydraulics, and carrier capacity.
Haybuster 3106 Pull-Type Rock Picker
The Haybuster 3106 Rock-EZE combines a 10-ft. windrowing path with a 1-cu.-yd. rock box and a 2- to 15-in. rock-size range. The machine requires 80 hp, and tractor weight must equal or exceed the fully loaded picker weight.
Windrower teeth comb through the top inch of soil. A ground-driven rock wheel separates excess dirt and stones smaller than 2 in., and a grate in the bottom of the rock box allows additional soil to fall back to the field. The receiving vehicle's opening must clear the 3106 dump height during loading.
Loftness EZ Pick Loader Attachments
Loftness EZ Pick rock pickers use a hydraulically powered, bi-directional 360-degree reel, require 6 gpm, and handle rocks from 2 to 24 in.

All three EZ Pick configurations have a 24-in. opening height. The 720S and 840S lift-capacity recommendations do not establish complete carrier compatibility. Mount engagement, rated operating capacity, tipping load, ballast, hydraulic flow and pressure, couplers, attachment weight, and loaded handling must suit the skid steer or compact track loader. The 960S blank plate requires the correct adapter to be fabricated and installed for the wheel loader.
Pickup Method, Soil Separation, and Loading
The Haybuster 3106 combines field windrowing, mechanical pickup, and soil separation in a pull-type machine. The Loftness EZ Pick uses a hydraulic reel to load rocks with the carrier positioned directly at the rock.
