Collection: Seeders

Our seeders cover prepared seedbeds for food plots, landscape work, and smaller-acreage planting, alongside adjustable-row tow-behind and double-disc crop-seeder options. We sell Brillion, PH Outdoors FaunaMaster, and Tar River DRL models with distinct placement and mounting systems.

Prepared-Seedbed, Food-Plot, and Landscape Seeders

Landoll/Brillion Sure Stand seeders use a ground-driven system to meter seed across the full seeding width. Front rollers prepare the seedbed; the metering system places seed in the top portion of that prepared seedbed between pulverizer rollers, and rear rollers firm it. Sure Stand seeders use a front Micro-Meter box, with an optional rear agitator box on applicable configurations.

The Brillion BPSB-6 Till 'N Seed adds a three-point till-and-seed model with separate 4.5- and 1.4-bushel seed boxes. The Brillion FPSB-6 food plot seeder has a 6-foot seeding width, two 2.625-bushel boxes, three-point mounting, and a 35-horsepower minimum tractor recommendation. The SSBP6 and SSBS6 are also 6-foot ground-driven Micro-Meter seeders with two 2.625-bushel boxes; the SSBS6 is available with three-point or skid-steer mounting.

Brillion landscape seeders use ground-driven boxes with openings spaced three inches apart. LSP models use three-point mounting, while the LSS6 has three-point provisions and can use skid-steer quick attach on the front or rear. Brillion Standard Series seeders use cast-iron pulverizer rollers ahead of and behind the seed placement area. Brillion recommends 6 to 8 tractor horsepower per foot for that series.

Tar River Double-Disc Crop Seeders

Our Tar River equipment includes DRL crop seeders for tilled or secondary-tillage seedbeds. The Tar River DRL048 48-inch seeder uses a Category I hitch and seven seed and fertilizer cups. The Tar River DRL072 seeder has dual seed boxes, double-opening discs, and a Category I/II hitch.

ATV and UTV Adjustable-Row Seeders

The FaunaMaster models in our PH Outdoors equipment are tow-behind seeders with adjustable rows. The PH Outdoors FaunaMaster 105 seeder has a 41-inch working width and seven rows. PH Outdoors recommends a 4x4 ATV or UTV with at least 650 cc, 20 horsepower, and 750 pounds. The FaunaMaster 180 seeder has a 71-inch working width and 12 rows, with minimum guidance of 800 cc, 25 horsepower, and 900 pounds for a 4x4 ATV or UTV.

Metering, Power, and Calibration

Main and small-seed boxes meter different seed types separately, while dual-box machines provide two controlled seed compartments. Brillion instructs LSP and LSS operators to calibrate for the actual seed and machine, using chart settings only as a starting point and checking actual seed output. Manufacturer horsepower and vehicle figures are minimums; match the model to its stated tractor hitch or ATV/UTV requirements.
