Our hay and field rakes include wheel, V-rake, carted, and rotary layouts from Fair Manufacturing, Farm King, Rowse, and Sitrex. These designs differ in windrow formation and adjustment, tractor requirements, working width, and transport width.
Wheel, V-Rake, Carted, and Rotary Designs
Fair 1500 and 1700 wheel rakes can turn, fluff, or merge hay and form a 30- to 70-inch windrow. Both use one tractor remote, and a center kicker wheel is optional. Rowse Ultimate V-Rakes adjust rear windrow width hydraulically from 3.5 feet to more than 20 feet; rubber-mounted teeth and center kicker wheels are optional. Our Sitrex rakes include carted QR models with a 3-foot to 6-foot-7-inch windrow range and QRX models with hydraulic extension and hydraulic angle. QRX models use standard 55-inch wheels with 7-millimeter tines; 60-inch wheels with 7.5-millimeter tines are optional. Farm King models include wheel-rake families, ENO twin rotary rakes, and the RR420FK pull-type rotary rake.
Fair 1500 and 1700 Hay Rakes
We sell the Fair 1500 and Fair 1700 as part of our Fair Manufacturing equipment line. The 1500 uses 15 60-inch wheels and rakes up to 28 feet; the 1700 uses 17 60-inch wheels and rakes up to 31 feet. Both transport at 134 inches wide. The 1500 weighs 5,200 pounds and the 1700 weighs 5,600 pounds.
