Post Drivers

We sell an AGI Renegade trailered post pounder and two Danuser Hammer SM40 skid-steer models. They differ in power source, post-holding system, positioning controls, hydraulic requirements, and mobility along the fence line.

AGI Renegade Trailered Post Pounder

Our AGI Renegade trailered post pounder is engine-driven and trailer-mounted. The Renegade family uses a telescoping hitch and mast, four-way tilt, and a hydraulic post holder. Confirm the engine and installed equipment on the machine being quoted.

Danuser Hammer SM40 Models

The base Hammer SM40 and Hammer SM40 with grapple and tilt use a 300-pound drop weight and 40-inch stroke. Danuser specifies an 8.5-by-9.25-inch maximum post opening for the SM40. If you need grapple-and-tilt post handling, compare the Danuser equipment options.

The SM40 requires 1,500-3,000 PSI and 12-30 GPM. For the standard 300-pound configuration, Danuser recommends a loader rated operating capacity of at least 2,500 pounds with counterweight. The grapple-and-tilt machine picks up and positions posts and tilts up to 20 degrees left or right. Confirm the carrier, mount, hydraulic connections, counterweight, and post dimensions for the machine you are ordering.

Choosing a Post Driver

Email sales@keastenterprises.com with your post material and dimensions, ground conditions and loader model. Include how much fence you build and access along the fence line so we can compare a loader-mounted driver with the trailered Renegade.
