Brandt High-Speed Discs
Brandt high-speed discs are designed to size residue, prepare seedbeds, and level ruts. Brandt recommends operating speeds of 10 to 14 mph; soil, residue, working depth, tractor power, and configuration affect attainable speed and finish.
The Brandt 221A HP 20-foot-9-inch high-speed disc has a two-section frame, while the Brandt 326A HP 26-foot-8-inch high-speed disc has a three-section frame. Both models use 22-inch discs, U-notch front and smooth rear blades, and a spring roller. Brandt rates transport width at 9 feet 11 inches for the 221A HP and 14 feet 5 inches for the 326A HP.
LEMKEN Rubin 10 and Rubin 12 Compact Discs
Rubin 10 handles intensive mixing and stubble work to about 14 cm, while Rubin 12 handles stubble cultivation and primary tillage in heavy soils to 20 cm.
The folding Rubin 10/600 KUA has a 600-cm working width and 48 discs; LEMKEN recommends 210-300 hp. The Rubin 12/500 KUA is 500 cm wide with 30 736-mm discs and a 225-400 hp recommendation; the Rubin 12/600 KUA is 600 cm wide with 34 736-mm discs and a 270-480 hp recommendation. These semi-mounted folding models use hydraulic depth adjustment. The Rubin 10 KUA includes automatic transport locking, while folding Rubin 12 models use an integrated carriage. Confirm the exact suffix, roller, and road equipment. The LEMKEN Rubin 10/600 compact disc harrow is equipped with a double roller; trailing rollers vary by configuration.
Maschio Veloce 400 Mounted Disc Harrow
The rigid Maschio Veloce 400 mounted disc harrow has a 4-meter working width, 32 520-mm discs, and a category II/IIIN three-point hitch. Maschio recommends 138-148 hp. The Veloce is designed for seedbed finishing and residue management in minimum tillage, with a maximum working depth of 10 cm. The Veloce 400 is equipped with a cage roller.
ICON 6510 Construction Disc
The ICON 6510 10-foot-9-inch construction disc has eight front and eight rear blades, 17.5-inch blade spacing, and a transport width of 11 feet 11 inches. Landoll recommends 20 to 30 horsepower per foot for the ICON 6510. Blade size, soil, working depth, ballast, and traction remain part of tractor matching.
Rome Wheel-Offset Disc Harrows
Rome wheel-offset models span lighter cutting and leveling work through deep, heavy-duty tillage. The TCW-24 has a 9-foot width of cut, 24 discs with standard 24-inch blades, 9.5-inch spacing, up to 8 inches of depth, and 48-73 suggested engine hp. The TAW-20S has a 9-foot-6-inch width of cut, 20 discs with standard 28-inch blades, 12-inch spacing, up to 9 inches of depth, and 98-120 suggested engine hp.
The Rome TACW-16 11-foot model is a wheel-offset disc harrow with 16 discs at 17.75-inch spacing and is rated for up to 10 inches of penetration with standard 32-inch blades. Rome suggests 168-193 engine horsepower for this model, and it requires one rear hydraulic circuit. The TRCW-24 has a 19-foot-6-inch width of cut, 24 discs with standard 36-inch blades, 20-inch spacing, a 13-inch standard depth, 450-600 suggested engine hp, and two rear hydraulic circuits.
TACW and TRCW models are designed for deep plowing and heavy trash, while TAW and TCW models emphasize cutting, mixing, leveling, maneuverability, and trash clearance. Rome's horsepower guidance varies with soil and added weight, and working width varies with gang angle and blade diameter.
