We sell the Fecon Disc Hawk skid-steer disc mulcher. The DH60 mounts on a skid steer or compact track loader with the required hydraulic power and lifting capacity.
Size and Applications
The Fecon DH60 disc mulcher has a 60-inch working width, 77-inch overall width, 68-inch length, 34-inch height, and 2,700-pound weight. Confirm the attachment's actual weight and the carrier's stability before installation.
Disc Hawk applications include right-of-way clearing and maintenance, pasture reclamation, fire-fuel reduction, and rural land clearing.
Disc or Drum Mulcher
Fecon rates the Disc Hawk for felling standing trees up to 14 inches and processing brush, overgrowth, and trees up to 6 inches. The Disc Hawk leaves longer, stringier material that can be spread across a rural clearing site. The Fecon Drum Mulcher processes felled material up to 8 inches into smaller, more consistent chips for work in more developed areas.
Teeth and Chutes
The Disc Hawk can feed material from the top down or bottom up, back drag for ground cleanup, and fell from the left side with the push bar. The push bar has two positions. Fecon offers standard teeth for efficient cutting and carbide teeth for work involving ground engagement. Confirm which tooth set is installed on the attachment.
Fecon offers brush and hardwood intake chutes, plus broadcasting and processing discharge chutes. The processing discharge directs material downward to reduce thrown debris and improve material sizing, but it does not eliminate debris-control and guarding requirements.
Fecon requires a maintained one-half-inch polycarbonate or equivalent cab window, falling-object protection, verified carrier rollover protection, and proper guarding for mulching work. Follow the attachment and carrier manuals that apply to the machine's serial number.
