The Duo Lift AST47XL 47-foot steerable header trailer has an 18,000-pound GVWR, a 7,000-pound front torsion axle, 7,000-pound tandem rear torsion axles, and two-wheel electric brakes on the first rear axle. It has a welded clevis hitch for a 1-inch pin and 235/85R16 LRG tires.
Duo Lift rates the Duo Lift AST52XL 52-foot steerable header trailer at 23,000 pounds. It has a 7,000-pound front axle and an 8,000-pound tandem rear torsion suspension, with electric brakes on all wheels. It has a 2-5/16-inch ball coupler and 215/75R17.5 LRH tires.
Header fit is not established by trailer length alone. Duo Lift assigns different supports, inserts, braces, and packages to specific header families, and some support placement depends on trailer serial and build date. Match the exact header manufacturer, model, width, support geometry, gauge-wheel or tow package, loaded weight, and installed trailer supports before confirming that either trailer will fit the header.
