Overview

The PH Outdoors Goliath 8 Roller is a heavy-duty crimper designed to flatten and terminate cover crops without chemicals. Its 96″ drum width, water-fill ballast, and Cat I/II three‑point hookup support sustainable cover crop management on wildlife plots, small farms, and food plots. The roller can be used in the same cover-crop system as PH Outdoors drills.

96″ Crimping Drum: Aggressive fins crimp stalks at multiple points, stopping nutrient flow and laying residue flat to suppress weeds and conserve soil moisture.

Adjustable Ballast: Fill drum with water (~75 lb/ft) to increase the weight for deeper and more aggressive crimping.

Category I/II Hitch and Frame: The frame connects to a Category I or II three-point hitch.

When the crop is at a suitable growth stage and the drum is properly ballasted, the Goliath 8 rolls and crimps standing cover crops to lay residue across the soil surface. Termination results vary by crop, maturity, field conditions, and operating setup. For additional ground pressure, the drum can be filled with water to increase operating weight.
