AGI Renegade Post Pounder, Trailered, Electric Start Engine

The AGI Renegade is a trailer-mounted post pounder with a built-in post-carrying trailer, telescoping hitch, telescoping mast, and four-way tilt. The standard Renegade uses a 660 lb hammer and a 9 HP Honda gas engine. The electric-start configuration keeps the hydraulic power unit independent of a tractor.

Post Positioning and Handling

Telescoping hitch and mast: Hydraulic movement positions the hammer without repeatedly moving the tow vehicle.
Four-way tilt: The mast tilts forward, rearward, left, and right for post alignment on uneven ground.
Hydraulic post hugger: Cast-iron cones hold the post during driving.
Greaseless poly slides: Poly mast slides reduce routine lubrication points.
Post storage: The trailer carries posts with the pounder along the fence line.

A pilot auger, square post hugger, and T-post hugger are available as options. We can confirm the installed options and appropriate post-handling equipment before finalizing the order.

Is the 660 lb specification hydraulic pressure?

No. The Renegade uses a 660 lb hammer. The figure describes hammer weight, not hydraulic pressure.

Does the Renegade require tractor hydraulics?

No. The electric-start 9 HP Honda engine powers the Renegade hydraulic system independently of a tractor.

Is a pilot auger included?

The pilot auger is optional. We can also confirm the available square-post and T-post hugger options for the posts being installed.
