Description

The Anderson StackPro 5400 gathers large square bales with a hydraulic clamp and receiving platform, assembles the transport load and tips the bed 90 degrees to leave an upright storage stack. One tractor operator handles field collection and unloading without a separate loader gathering bales alongside the carrier. This stacker is supplied without brakes. Model photos may show optional equipment.

The receiving platform forms the load as the pickup places each bale. Automatic loading cycles reduce repetitive control commands while the operator drives the tractor. The touchscreen helps the operator follow loading from the cab. The standard reverse camera helps monitor the rear during transport and unloading. Rear clamps support the bales during unloading and allow the carrier to retrieve a formed stack.

A PTO-driven variable-displacement pump powers the working hydraulics through a closed oil circuit. That circuit keeps the trailer’s working oil separate from the tractor oil. The tractor must still provide the hydraulic connections and free-return line listed below, along with the specified 1,000-rpm PTO connection.

Built-in weighing records bale and load weights. Client statistics and USB export give custom operators a way to retain bale counts and weights by job, alongside the physical work of gathering and stacking.

The 5400 carries smaller loads than the StackPro 7200 and requires 150 HP rather than 175 HP. For staging bales ahead of a separate semitrailer loader, its smaller assembled stack may suit the loading routine. The 7200 provides more bale places per trip when larger storage stacks and the higher tractor requirement suit the operation.
