The Art's Way 664 TOP-SPREAD is a loader-mounted bale processor for livestock bedding, bunk feeding and spreading mulch or coverage over seeding. Angled loading tines help pick up the bale, a reversible apron feeds it into twin hydraulic rotors, and an adjustable deflector directs the discharge to the left.
Photos show an Art's Way 664 Top-Spread model reference; supplied equipment follows the listing specifications.
The apron uses pintle chain and tube slats, with adjustable feed speed. Advancing the bale brings material into the rotors; reversing moves it away from the rotors to control when material re-enters. Feed rate and the loader's hydraulic flow influence material breakup and throw distance. The twin rotors carry 56 cup knives in the standard factory specification.
The 664 accepts up to 5 × 6-foot round bales, 4 × 4 × 6-foot square bales or 120 cubic feet of loose material. Its machine weight is 2,060 pounds. For transport planning, shipping weight is 2,100 pounds.
A loader with at least 2,500 pounds operating capacity and 20 GPM hydraulic flow is required. Loader capacity must suit the attachment and actual bale at the working position. Standard connections include flat-face hydraulic couplers and a 14-pin Deutsch electrical plug. The built-in hydraulic return means a third loader line is not required.
The electrical connection must match the loader; Bobcat requires a signal adapter. A cab-switch wiring harness is optional for loaders without a compatible electrical connection. This standard 664 package excludes the optional deflector actuator and 30-foot wiring. Tell us the loader model, hydraulic flow and electrical connection so we can match the controls.
