Description

The Baumalight 3P34 uses a 540 RPM PTO to drive its 34-inch cutting wheel, with tractor hydraulics controlling head swing and lift. The 65-degree sweep moves the wheel across the stump while the tractor stays in position. It provides up to 32 inches of horizontal cut and 14 inches of below-ground reach.

A stabilizer base supports the grinder on the ground. Separate lift and swing cylinders position the head, and a flow control adjusts sweep speed to suit the cutting load. The ¾-inch steel rotor carries replaceable S1000 carbide teeth, with projection beyond the wheel for chip clearance. A floating deflector follows the cut to direct debris.

The base control setup requires two tractor hydraulic remotes. An optional S1050 external hydraulic lever valve allows operation from one remote. The PTO driveline uses a slip clutch for overload protection.
