Description

The Baumalight 3P38 pairs a 34-inch cutting wheel with a 540 RPM PTO input and Category 2 three-point hitch. Its maximum PTO rating is 100 HP, compared with 75 HP for the 3P34. The tractor-size selection guide for this configuration is 80–110 HP; engine and PTO limits are listed separately below.

Hydraulic lift and a 65-degree swing move the cutting head while the stabilizer base supports the grinder. The tractor remains in position as the wheel sweeps across the stump, and a flow control sets the sweep feed. The head reaches up to 14 inches below ground.

A ¾-inch steel rotor supports individually replaceable S1000 carbide teeth. The cutters project beyond the wheel to leave chip clearance, and a floating deflector follows the cut. Slip-clutch protection is built into the PTO driveline.
