Overview

The Baumalight CF572 Open-Front Skid Steer Rotary Brush Cutter is a heavy-duty 72" brush mower built for serious land-clearing work. A rugged 1/4" steel deck, reinforced frame, and four AR400 slasher blades give it the bite to handle thick grass, heavy brush, and small trees while holding up to constant bouncing in rough ground. The 72" open mouth and roughly 82" cutting path let you cover more than your track width, so you can clean right up to fence lines, tree rows, and ditches in fewer passes.

Equipped with the M550 motor, this CF572 configuration is tuned for skid steers in the 12-30 GPM hydraulic flow range. The M550 roller-vane motor delivers strong torque for 4" brush and saplings; a case drain line is supplied and recommended to protect the motor and extend seal life, especially at higher flow and pressure, but it’s not required at the low end of the operating range. An open front with double-arch brush bar, rear chain curtain, and built-in hydraulic relief round out a cutter designed for contractors, farmers, and acreage owners who need fast, controlled clearing.

The 1/4" plate steel deck and boxed-in frame are built for commercial-duty use, resisting oil-canning and twist when you’re bouncing over ruts, stumps, and rough pasture.

M550 Roller-Vane Motor
M550 motor is matched to about 12–30 GPM hydraulic flow, giving strong torque for heavier brush and small trees. A case drain line is included and recommended for best motor life, especially near the top end of the flow range, but is not required at lower flow and pressure.

Built-In Hydraulic Relief Protection
Integrated hydraulic relief protects your skid steer and the cutter’s driveline from pressure spikes when you tag stumps, rocks, or dense brush, dumping excess pressure instead of sending it through the motor shaft seal.

Open Front with Brush Bar
Wide open front lets you “saw” through larger stems, while the brush bar helps pull tall material into the blades and control how trees and saplings fall as you cut.

Rear Chain Curtain Debris Control
A heavy rear chain curtain contains flying debris while still allowing mulched material to exit, improving safety around fences, buildings, and roadways.

Up to ~4" Brush and Saplings
Rated for brush and saplings up to roughly 4" in diameter, making it a strong fit for fence-line reclaiming, trails, building sites, and general land clearing.

Universal Skid Steer Quick Attach
Standard skid steer quick-attach plate fits most SSL/CTL carriers in the ~4,000–12,000 lb class, so it drops easily into most mixed fleets.
