Overview

The Baumalight DXA530 Articulating Excavator Tree Saw is a hydraulically driven, 30" circular saw built for fast, controlled tree cutting from the cab of your excavator. Designed for 4–12 ton machines and 10–40 GPM hydraulic flow, it uses a bent-axis piston motor to run a AR400 steel blade with replaceable carbide-tipped teeth, giving you clean cuts in timber up to 10" diameter.

With a 180° hydraulically articulating head, the DXA530 lets you rotate the blade to trim limbs, cut vertically, or work horizontally along fence lines and ditches without constantly repositioning the machine. Internal hose routing, heavy-duty bearings, and a blade shield are built in for durability and protection. Excavator Mount must be custom-ordered for your excavator and is not included.

30" diameter blade made from abrasion-resistant AR400 steel delivers a fast, smooth cut and holds up to everyday commercial use.

10" Maximum Cutting Capacity
Cuts trees up to approximately 10" diameter, ideal for fencelines, windbreak cleanup, trails, and property-edge maintenance.

Bent-Axis Piston Motor (10–40 GPM)
High-efficiency piston motor is rated for 10–40 GPM and up to 5,000 PSI, turning excavator hydraulic flow into strong, consistent blade speed. Case drain is required.

180° Hydraulically Articulating Head
Hydraulic actuator rotates the cutting head up to 180°, letting you switch between vertical and horizontal cutting and angle the blade for limbing, trimming, and flush cuts.

Built for 4–12 Ton Excavators
Sized for 4–12 ton carriers, giving you a good balance of reach, stability, and cutting performance without overloading the stick or boom.

Carbide-Tipped Saw Teeth
Replaceable carbide-tipped teeth bite cleanly into hardwood and softwood, and can be serviced or replaced as they wear for long-term performance.

Internal Hose Routing & No-Grease Rotation
Hydraulic plumbing and rotation components are tucked inside the frame for protection, with no-grease rotation bushings to minimize daily service points.

Heavy-Duty Blade Shield & Frame
Blade shield and robust, powder-coated frame help contain debris and protect the blade and motor, built to withstand the shocks of real-world land clearing.
