Description

The Baumalight ISH712G pairs a fixed horizontal shear with a grabber and curved cradle for cutting, holding and placing trees. It is sized for the 6,000–12,000 lb skid steer class and has a maximum 12-inch cutting diameter. AR400 steel supports the cutting and handling work.

Blade-adjusting cams let the cutting edges be aligned along their length during service. Greaseable pivots provide access to the moving joints. Sleeved and armoured hoses run through a pivoting support that takes up slack and reduces pinching and strain as the loader moves.

This model includes hoses and couplers and needs no electrical auxiliary control. Baumalight’s cutting chart rates it for 12-inch hardwood and softwood at 3,000 PSI. At lower pressure, the charted diameter falls, so use the carrier’s actual hydraulic pressure along with the wood type when choosing the shear.
