Overview

The Baumalight MP572 Brush Mulcher is a heavy-duty, fixed-tooth PTO mulcher built for Category II 3-point tractors in the 50-115 HP range. With a 72" rotor and 87" path width, it’s sized for mid-range tractors that need to clear fence lines, treelines, pasture edges, and field borders efficiently in fewer passes.

Designed as part of Baumalight’s 500 Series, the MP572 uses bolt-on carbide P5000 Planer teeth for smooth, efficient mulching, with optional Ripper teeth for more aggressive, below-grade work. A heavy-duty gearbox, reinforced belt drive, hydraulic debris door, and adjustable skid shoes round out a package built for farm and entry-level contractor clearing where durability and controllable mulch size matter.

Planer Teeth Standard, Optional Ripper Teeth
Ships with Planer teeth for smooth, fast mulching; optional Ripper teeth with a V-notch profile are available for more aggressive shredding below grade and in rocky fence-line conditions.

Hydraulic Debris Door & Adjustable Skid Shoes
Hydraulic debris door lets you open up for high-volume material or close down to refine mulch size, while two-position skid shoes set cutting height from level to about 1.5" above / 1" below grade.

Integrated Push Bar & Spiral Tooth Pattern
Integrated push bar helps control and bend taller brush into the rotor, and a spiral tooth pattern ensures only one tooth engages at a time for smoother operation and reduced power spikes.

Slip Clutch, Wire Kit & Chain Curtain Protection
Slip clutch PTO protection, a wire protection kit, and a rear chain curtain work together to protect the tractor, gearbox, and rotor from overloads, hidden wire, and uncontrolled flying debris.

Heavy-Duty T1 Frame with Powder-Coat Finish
T1 alloy tool-steel frame, greaseable pins, hardened bushings, and powder-coat finish are built for long service life in farm and light-contractor conditions. Six free replacement teeth are included in an enclosed top compartment.
