Overview

The Baumalight MS960 Brush Mulcher is a heavy-duty, skid steer–mounted fixed-tooth mulcher built for standard to large high-flow skid steers. With a 60" rotor and 75" mulching path width, it covers the full width of most machines, letting you clear fence lines, trails, and overgrown pasture in fewer passes while keeping the head close to the carrier for better stability and weight balance.

Engineered for serious land clearing, the MS960 uses 900 Series double-tipped R9000 teeth on a fixed-tooth rotor, driven by a bent axis piston motor sized for 25–40 GPM hydraulic flow (hyd. motor dependent). A large pressure gauge, adjustable skid shoes, integrated push bar, wire protection kit, chain curtain, replaceable bolt-in AR400 liners, and a case-drain/vent system are all designed to keep you productive and protect your investment in real-world conditions.

Fixed-tooth rotor runs 900 Series R9000 double-tipped teeth, available in ripper or planer profile to match your conditions, ripper for lots of ground contact and mixed material, planer where rocks are minimal and you want faster cutting.

The bent axis piston motor can be matched to a variety of hydraulic flows (model dependent), giving you a setup that's perfect for your machine.

Universal Skid Steer Mount
Universal skid steer quick-attach plate and a short-coupled frame keep the rotor close to the machine for better balance, allowing smaller high-flow carriers to handle it more easily.

Integrated Push Bar with Directional Felling Hook
Integrated push bar helps to easily guide tall brush and small trees into the rotor.

Adjustable Skid Shoes & Roll-Back Capability
Adjustable skid shoes let you set your cutting height from above grade to slightly below grade.

Spring-Loaded Hose Support & Curved Hose Bracket
Spring-loaded hose support and curved hose bracket keep hydraulic hoses supported and out of harm’s way as you curl the head forward and back, reducing the chance of pinching or chafing lines.

Wire Protection Kit & Chain Curtain
Wire protection kit shields the rotor ends so old fence wire can’t wrap on the shaft and destroy bearings, while the rear 3/8" chain curtain controls debris so standing brush goes in and mulched material exits in a controlled pattern.

Replaceable Bolt-In AR400 Liners & Heavy T1 Frame
Bolt-in AR400 wear liners protect the inside of the housing and can be swapped without removing the rotor. A heavy T1 alloy tool-steel frame and reinforced skid steer plate are powder-coated for long-term durability.
