Description

The Baumalight MX1160R excavator mulcher pairs a 60-inch rotor with 31 sharpenable planer teeth for clearing brush and trees. Rings on the rotor limit the bite taken by each tooth, reducing stress on the tooth holders as the head feeds into material.

An integrated root rake lets the excavator move logs and loose debris between passes. The AR400 steel body surrounds a fixed-tooth rotor, and the planer teeth can be sharpened as their edges wear.

Baumalight’s under-load motor chart covers 35–50 GPM for the C1170 and 45–60 GPM for the C1190. These are working-flow estimates for selecting the motor with the excavator’s hydraulic flow and pressure. A case drain is required with either bent-axis piston motor.
