Overview

The Baumalight MX530 Excavator Mulcher is a fixed-tooth mulcher for 4–14 ton excavators, built to clear fence lines, overgrown pasture, and brushy rights-of-way. A 30" rotor with a 40" mulching path gives you a wide, productive cut while still staying compact and controllable on a mid-size machine.

It uses a bent-axis piston hydraulic motor for most hydraulic flow rates, designed to maximize your excavator’s hydraulics and keep rotor speed and torque in the sweet spot for heavy brush. A fixed-tooth rotor with 64 bolt-in carbide teeth, integrated skid shoes, V-notch hardened tooth holders, and a spiral tooth pattern all work together to deliver smooth, efficient mulching while protecting the driveline from shock loads and pressure spikes.
