Overview

The Baumalight MX960R Excavator Mulcher is a heavy-duty, fixed-tooth mulcher built for serious land clearing on 18-33 ton excavators. A 60" rotor with a 90" total path width lets you easily tackle fence lines, ditches, field edges, and rights-of-way in fewer passes.

Set up with a bent-axis piston motor and 38 double carbide teeth, the MX960R is built for 12-60 GPM hydraulic flow, with strong torque and rotor performance. Double-tipped R9000 carbide teeth are built for frequent ground contact and the occasional stone, while the AR400 steel body, replaceable wear plates, and integrated root rake ripper teeth give you a long-life mulcher that can rip, push, and process material in one pass.

Aggressive Root Rake Ripper Teeth
Root rake ripper teeth are built into the frame so you can grab, pull, and position logs, roots, and rocks ahead of the rotor to clean the work area and feed material efficiently.

Wire Protection Kit & Rear Chain Curtain
Wire protection on the rotor ends helps keep old fence wire from wrapping into the bearings, while a 3/8" rear chain curtain manages how brush exits the housing.

Hydraulic Protection with Relief & Case Drain
Over-torque relief and a case drain help protect the motor and your excavator’s hydraulic system from pressure spikes when you hit stumps, rocks, or buried debris.
