Description

The Baumalight QC45 provides 45 kW of single-phase power from a tractor PTO for farm backup and portable loads. The four-pole generator runs at 1,800 internal RPM and uses oversized copper windings.

Three speed-indicator lights help the operator reach the correct speed before adding electrical demand. The tractor drives the generator through a 540 RPM PTO, with the required horsepower increasing as the electrical load rises.

Size the QC45 for the equipment that will run together, with a separate allowance for motor starting. Its surge rating is momentary. We can check tractor and PTO compatibility using your tractor model; a qualified electrician should calculate the loads and specify the transfer equipment, conductors and grounding for building backup.
