The Baumalight RSS380 is a skid steer planetary drive for 2-inch hex tools, including Baumalight's screw splitter and stump planer. It operates at low speed and high torque, with output determined by hydraulic flow and pressure.

RSS380 Drive and Tool Compatibility

The package includes the hydraulic planetary drive, universal skid steer adapter plate, integrated shield, and hydraulic hoses. Screw-splitter and stump-planer tools are sold separately.

RSS380 Fitment

Confirm skid steer operating weight, auxiliary flow and pressure, mount, couplers, and the exact 2-inch hex tool before ordering. Baumalight gives separate maximum carrier weights for the planer and splitter, so the selected tool is part of the fitment check.

The stump-planer configuration is included with our stump grinders. Additional drives and forestry attachments are available in our Baumalight equipment collection.

Which tools fit the RSS380?

The RSS380 is the planetary drive. Baumalight offers compatible 2-inch hex tools that include a screw splitter and a stump planer.

Baumalight recommends 20 to 40 GPM, with a 45 GPM maximum.

Are hydraulic hoses included?

Yes. The skid steer adapter plate and hoses are included; couplers still need to match the skid steer. Splitter and planer tools are sold separately.
