Description

The Baumalight S22 brings a 24-inch cutting wheel and powered head swing to a skid steer. Its 60-degree swing moves the wheel across the stump while the loader stays in place. This configuration includes the S450 motor and skid steer mounting adapter.

A 12V electric actuator powers the swing, leaving hydraulic flow available for the cutting motor. The actuator needs a constant power supply fused at 30A, so the carrier’s electrical supply matters as well as its hydraulics.

The ¾-inch steel rotor carries 34 replaceable S1000 carbide planer teeth. The teeth project beyond the wheel for chip clearance, and individual cutters can be replaced as they wear. A floating deflector follows the cutting depth to direct chips.
