The Baumalight SS330 puts a hinged, three-blade tree spade on a skid steer plate. It forms a 30-inch root ball and is supplied with wired electric controls and a 20-foot cord for operating the spade from the carrier.
The arm opens to 60 inches so the head can be positioned around trunks and lower branches. The rear blades leave a view of the digging area, and the individual blade and swing functions let the operator close the frame and advance the blades separately.
The SS330 is the skid steer choice for the same 30-inch root ball size offered by the three-point PS330. Carrier size still matters: Baumalight specifies at least 6,000 pounds for a wheeled skid steer or 5,200 pounds for a tracked machine, with a mounting extension checked for the particular carrier.
