The Baumalight SWA560 keeps a 60-inch flail cutting width while extending total reach to 10 feet with the boom flat. Its single curved arm places the head across roadside ditches and along fence lines, with clearance over obstacles and adjustable head angle for following the mowing surface.
This is the longer-reaching choice of the two 60-inch single-arm models: SWA550 has a 7-foot flat reach. Baumalight’s skid steer weight guide starts at 5,500 lb for the SWA560. Check the carrier’s hydraulic flow and electrical connection as well as its weight when matching the supplied motor and controls.
A height-adjustable flat-free tire and steel rear roller carry the floating head against the ground. Front and rear mounting points set the cutting height. The rotor has 48 standard F2000 flail clusters, with individually replaceable cutters for service, and the boom folds for travel.
The supplied D530 piston motor is paired with the D004904 joystick-button control assembly. It requires four live switchable AUX pins on the carrier. Hydraulic hoses are included, couplers are excluded, and the motor requires a case drain.
