The Danuser SM40 post driver uses a free-fall hammer for fence and post installation. This package includes hydraulic tilt, a grapple, and hydraulic hoses so posts can be picked up, positioned, and held from the operator's seat.

The driver can use a full hammer stroke or shorter strokes for control as the post approaches its final depth. The hammer housing and mount use heavy steel, with greasable pivots for routine service.
