Overview

The FAE DML/SSL/SONIC 150 is a heavy duty standard flow skid steer mulcher designed for 50–75 HP carrier. With a 59‑inch cutting width and the ability to shred vegetation up to 5 inches in diameter, it offers a great solution for forestry, habitat restoration, roadside maintenance, and farm management.

Key Features

Sonic Hydraulic Control System
The Sonic control system adjusts hydraulic flow and pressure in real time to maintain target rotor RPM and torque. That means smoother operation and up to 30% faster clearing.

Heavy-Duty Bodywork
Housed in a fully enclosed steel body with Hardox® wear plates, spike counter-blades, protective chains, adjustable skids, and a robust belt-drive Poly‑Chain® system, the DML/SSL/BL/SONIC 150 is built to withstand heavy use in touch conditions.

Universal Mount
Flat-face quick couplers and a universal skid-steer mounting plate make installation fast and easy.

Rotor with Optional Bite Limiter
The DML rotor can be fitted with integrated limiter rings and blades that help maintain cutting depth and speed without overloading the carrier. This keeps the rotor spinning efficiently through dense brush and small trees to minimize time-consuming rotor stalls.
