Overview

The Hurricane Original Side-Arm is a heavy-duty, ditcher built to handle sod, water roots, and tough debris without bogging down while cleaning ditches, terraces, waterways, and more. It features an extra large 42″, 9-paddle impeller wheel with heat-treated cutting edges that clean up to 12″ deep in a single pass, reaching 5′ to 14′ from the tractor’s center. It's built to last with heavy-duty sprockets, bearings, and a 3/8″ oil-bath gearbox with double-80 and triple-80 roller chain and external chain tensioning to give you long-term reliability.

Deep-Reach Impeller: The 42″ impeller with 9 hardened paddles cuts and clears sod, roots, and debris.

High Throughput: Capable of cleaning up to 1 mile of ditch per hour with a 200 HP tractor, removing up to 12″ of soil per pass.

Heavy-Duty Drivetrain: The Original Side Arm is built to last with enclosed oil-bath gearbox with double-80 and triple-80 chain, heavy-duty sprockets, and external idler chain tensioning.

Adjustable Reach & Depth: Operates smoothly from 5′ to 14′ from the tractor center and depths up to 9′.

Balanced Operation: The standard counterweight keeps it balanced throughout all cutting positions.
