Neville 40' Aluminum Hopper Bottom Grain Trailer, Electric Tarp

This Neville 40-foot hopper bottom grain trailer has a 102-inch-wide aluminum body, tandem spring suspension and an electric roll tarp. Two hoppers with wide trap doors and two-speed gear openers provide gravity unloading, while two sight windows give a view of the load. The package includes front and rear aluminum catwalks and ladders, outside polished aluminum wheels and LED lighting.

Two-speed trap openers

The lower gear provides leverage to start a loaded trap door. Once the door is moving freely, the faster gear reduces the cranking needed to open or close it. The two hoppers discharge through separate outlets for unloading into a receiving pit, auger or conveyor.

Neville’s aluminum grain-trailer design uses 37.5-degree hopper slopes and 35-degree floor slopes to direct grain toward the traps. Seamless body corners reduce places where grain can collect.

Load visibility and access

The two sight windows let you check the grain level from outside. Aluminum catwalks and ladders at both ends provide access to the upper body and tarp.
