Crary invented air systems more than two decades ago and their Air Reel design continues perform well, feeding short, damp, and lodged crops evenly. Available for headers from roughly 15 to 45 feet wide, it can replace most factory reels and fits a wide range of major brands.

Installing a Crary Air Reel adds a curtain of high‑velocity air, over 200 mph, directed at the cutter bar to keep material flowing back onto the auger or draper belt, eliminating bunching and shattered beans. That smoother feed supports faster ground speed, with operators reporting higher productivity and less of a need to wait for crop to clear the header. The system also improves visibility across the cutter bar and reduces feeding interruptions.

Built for dependability, the Air Reel includes a rugged rotor designed for exceptional durability, a Series II gearbox that’s lighter, quieter, and easy to service, and wireless cab controls for adjusting both air volume and direction on the go.
