We sell portable and swing-away grain augers from Brandt, Farm King, Hutchinson, and Peck in 10-, 12-, 13-, and 16-inch tube sizes and lengths from 31 to 125 ft. Short conventional augers handle truck loading, while longer swing-away machines move grain into storage.
Conventional and Swing-Away Grain Augers
A conventional portable auger uses a fixed intake. The PTO-driven Farm King 1031 10 in. x 31 ft. conventional auger is the shorter model; Farm King also offers the conventional 1036 at 36 ft.
Swing-away augers add a low-profile hopper that can be positioned beside a truck or trailer while the main auger remains aligned with the bin. Farm King's BackSaver family spans 10-, 13-, and 16-inch tubing with family lengths from 50 to 124 ft. and uses a scissor-lift undercarriage. Hopper-lift and swing functions may be manual, hydraulic, or electric, separate from the main auger drive.
Brandt, Farm King, Hutchinson, and Peck Augers
Our Brandt equipment includes the Brandt 1060HP 10 in. x 60 ft. swing-away auger.
Our Farm King equipment includes conventional truck-loading augers and BackSaver swing-away models. Each Farm King tube-diameter and length combination has a specific lift, main-drive, and hopper-control configuration.
Hutchinson augers include HX10 swing-away models. The Hutchinson HX 10-73 swing-away auger is 10 in. in diameter and 73 ft. long.
Peck augers include the Peck 1031 10 in. x 31 ft. auger. Confirm the main drive on the selected Peck 1031 before purchase.
Capacity, Drive, Lift, and Bin Reach
Rated grain-moving capacity depends on the model and configuration. Tube diameter and length do not establish throughput by themselves; grain, drive, intake, and operating conditions also affect the applicable rating.
The auger's main drive may use PTO, engine, or electric power depending on the model. An electric hopper mover or electric winch does not mean the main auger is electrically driven. The model also determines the main-drive type, PTO speed, tractor horsepower, hydraulic requirements, and hopper controls.
Auger length also does not establish discharge height, transport height, or fit with a specific bin. Check the selected model's exact lift geometry against site measurements.
