The Baumalight ST440 is a universal skid steer tree spade that forms a 40-inch-diameter root ball up to 30 inches deep. Baumalight rates it for evergreens up to 4 inches and hardwoods up to 3 inches in trunk diameter.

Four-Blade Dual-Hinged Tree Spade

The dual-hinged frame opens to 52 inches for positioning around the trunk and lower branches. Four 1/4-inch AR400 blades use a full-truncated arrangement to form the root ball.
