The Brillion SSBP‑6 Sure Stand Agricultural Seeder is a 6-foot ground-driven seeder with front and rear seed boxes for wildlife plots, cover crops, lawns, and pasture renovation projects. With a fully welded steel frame, this unit combines a micro-meter seed meter upfront and a blade-agitator box in the rear, both powered by the pulverizer/packer roller. A floating front hitch and a seed-drive disconnect pin make it suitable for various seeding and tillage needs, no hydraulics or PTO required.

Key Features

Micro-Meter Front Seed Box
The 2.625-bushel front Micro-Meter box meters small granular seed. Adjustable sprockets and the calibration tray are used to set the seeding rate.

Blade Agitator Rear Seed Box
The rear 2.625-bushel box uses a blade agitator and 4-inch openings to meter chaffy seeds and blends consistently. The ground drive powers the seed meters from the front roller, while a disconnect pin enables tillage-only operation.

Dual Pulverizer Rollers
An 11.5-inch front roller and a 9.5-inch rear roller prepare and firm the soil while driving the seed meters. Both cast-iron rollers use greaseable bearings.

Floating Hitch System
The floating hitch allows the seeder to follow ground contours while maintaining roller contact.

Mechanical Drive Simplicity
Ground contact drives the seed meters and rollers, so the seeder does not require PTO or hydraulic power. Metering and tillage settings can be adjusted for the seed and seedbed.

Performance

Operating at 3–5 MPH, the SSBP‑6 covers approximately 3–5 acres per hour depending on soil and terrain. Disc gangs prepare the soil while the dual rollers firm the seedbed and power the metering system. Ground-driven seed meters provide consistent seeding rates when properly calibrated for the operating conditions. The floating hitch maintains depth control and even placement across uneven ground.

SSBP-6 Three-Point Seeder

The SSBP-6 packages the Sure Stand metering and roller system into a 6-foot three-point seeder. Its close-coupled design suits smaller fields, waterways, pasture renovation, and prepared food plots where maneuverability matters.
