Broadcast Seeders for Prepared Seedbeds
The Brillion LSP-6 landscape seeder and LSS-6 each cover 6 feet and use 11.5-inch front and 9.5-inch rear pulverizer rollers. Both have a 4.5-bushel single box with a blade agitator, ground drive, seed-meter openings on 3-inch spacing, and broadcast placement. Brillion recommends at least 35 tractor horsepower and 3-5 mph operation; check tractor lift with the seeder loaded.
The Brillion Small Ag rental models also cover 6 feet, with two 2.625-bushel boxes. The MicroMeter box uses 6-inch seed-meter spacing, while the blade-agitator box uses 4-inch seed-meter spacing; both are ground driven and broadcast seed. Calibrate each seed lot before planting. The Small Ag and landscape families both include three-point models, while the LSS-6 and SSBS-6 also support skid-steer quick attach. Confirm the mount installed on the rental unit and the carrier's rated operating capacity.
Kasco No-Till Drill Rentals
The Kasco KED-72 Eco-Drill is a 6-foot, 9-row drill on 8-inch spacing with a 4.4-bushel box and 1,600-pound weight. Its opener sequence uses a straight coulter, concave disc opener, and cultipacker. The Eco-Drill is used in pastures, food plots, waterways, and mine reclamation. Eco-Drill models are available in three-point and pull-type arrangements, with optional legume and warm-season boxes. Confirm the hitch and installed boxes on the rental unit.
The Kasco Plotter's Choice KPCT-72 is a 6-foot, 9-drop drill on 8-inch spacing with a 1,325-pound weight. Plotter's Choice is designed for no-till row drilling of corn and soybeans as well as solid-stand grasses. A warm-season-grass box is optional; confirm the rental unit's seed-box arrangement.
PH Outdoors True No-Till Drills
PH Outdoors G-Series drills use tempered cutting discs, seed-delivery tubes, packing wheels, and 7.5-inch row spacing. The PH Outdoors G10 no-till drill has a 120-inch working width, 16 cutting elements, 15.6-bushel hopper, 3,955-pound base weight, and 120-horsepower recommendation. Seed and optional weights increase the load carried by the tractor.
G-Series options include wheel and hydraulic towing kits, row-cover plates, pre-cutting discs, added weights, hopper dividers, small-seed boxes, and native-seed boxes. Option fit varies by model, so confirm what is installed on the rental unit.
PH Outdoors M5 Minimum-Till Drill
The PH Outdoors M5 uses double-disc coulters for minimum-till planting in food plots and on small hobby farms. It covers 60 inches with eight cutting elements on 7.5-inch spacing, weighs 1,133 pounds empty, carries 6 bushels, and has a 30-horsepower recommendation. Minimum tractor lift capacity is 1,495 pounds measured 24 inches behind the lift eyes. Optional weights and cover plates are available; confirm the installed equipment and tractor lift with seed in the hopper.
