Description

The Brillion SSBP-8 puts the Sure Stand seedbed and metering system in an eight-foot, Category II three-point machine. An 11.5-inch front roller prepares the surface, and a 9.5-inch rear roller firms the seedbed while providing the ground drive. PTO power and tractor hydraulics are not required.

The 3.5-bushel front Micro-Meter box handles small granular seed, while the 3.5-bushel rear blade-agitator box handles chaffy seed and blends. Adjustable sprockets and a calibration tray set the rate. A disconnect pin allows the rollers to be used without metering seed.

The tractor needs a compatible Category II hitch, enough lift capacity for the 1,914-pound seeder and its seed load, suitable front ballast, and clearance for the 114-inch transport width. Select and calibrate the meter for the seed and target rate before planting.
