The Loftness 31BX20 Battle Ax is a 31-inch mulching head for excavators from 10,000 to 20,000 pounds. Its compact width works well in right-of-way maintenance, site preparation, invasive-brush removal, and selective clearing around material that needs to remain standing.
This configuration uses 20 Quadco reversible planer teeth and a 45cc high-pressure gear motor. Depth gauges regulate the bite into the material, two shear bars form the second stage of the chamber, and a three-band belt drive powers the rotor. The planer teeth can be turned around as one cutting edge wears.

The included blank plate must be fabricated to the carrier-specific mount, or we can quote a custom excavator mount. Provide the machine model, hydraulic flow and pressure, pin dimensions, hose and coupler requirements, case-drain arrangement, lift capacity, and counterweight so the complete installation can be checked.
