Description

The PH Outdoors G8 is the nominal eight-foot drill in this line, with a published working width of 97.5 inches. Thirteen cutting elements open rows on 7.5-inch spacing through residue, and closing wheels firm the soil behind the seed placement. Planting depth adjusts from 0.5 to 2 inches.

A 12.6-bushel hopper supplies the 13 rows. The seed rate is set with a knob-adjustable gearbox rather than chain changes, while a sight glass and digital acreage counter help the operator monitor the job. A built-in weight bar accepts up to 1,540 pounds when harder conditions require more opener penetration.
